In order to escape some of the development demands of the AMP stack, this version of calhounsmith.com was built using Eleventy and populated with content using a mix of good ole hand-coding and Forestry CMS.

Though it’s no longer immediately apparent, Bryce Wray’s eleventy-solo-starter project ensured a good start to the use of this Jamstack combination. The introduction to Tailwind CSS was greatly appreciated. The out-of-the-box responsive-images capabilities work great. Thank you, Bryce, for sharing.

For zoomable image capability, this website makes use of code from the much appreciated OpenSeadragon project. This website uses the fonts Korpus and Korpus Grotesk from Binnenland Type Foundry.
