The sunflower field was photographed between Quinson and Montmeyan, France. I collected the road sign somewhere on the rural route between Quinson and Montagnac-Montpezat. Everything was assembled later at home on the floor as a large-ish scale photocollage with the often inevitable photographer's cast shadow. Most definitely probably an hommage to Hockney and his amazing Pearblossom Highway from 1986.
